Coordinated input from experts at three major pharmaceutical companies for the 12th Round Table on Vaccine and Pharmaceutical Production in Africa hosted by Germany's Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). This work was commissioned by the German Association of Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies (VFA).
Summarized industry motivations for supporting R&D in Africa, challenges to doing so, and ways that governments could support this work in a two-page brief.

Co-developed the content for an access strategy toolkit to help guide how a multinational pharmaceutical company thinks about and executes access for its products in low- and middle-income countries
Conducted a stakeholder landscaping analysis, identifying and characterizing 144 unique organizations that constituted potential funders, partners, or recipients for the company's therapeutic priorities
Identified distinct, product-specific opportunities for the company to increase access to its health products through key stakeholders

Interviewing WHO and UNICEF program officers in the WHO Eastern Mediterranean Region on their experiences immunizing children in conflict-affected regions
Synthesizing information from interviews to guide the refinement of a Theory of Change for Gavi to reach unvaccinated children living in fragile and conflict-affected settings
